After the BIST 100 index started the day at 9,814.69 points, it fell 51.73 points from Thursday's close.? The lowest value of the index for the day was 9,696.01, while its daily high was 9,820.48. While 52 indices gained value during the day, 44 declined. The total transaction volume reached 69 billion Turkish liras ($2.03 billion), while the overall value of the index was 8.3 trillion liras ($243.5 billion).
