Nicosia: Temperatures are expected to reach 40 C inland, according to an extreme maximum temperature warning issued on Monday by the Meteorological Department. According to Cyprus News Agency, the yellow warning will be valid from 1100 until 1700 with the maximum temperatures expected to reach around 40 degrees Celsius over some inland areas.
