Nicosia: Temperatures will drop as of Monday and will reach levels which are normal for the season during the new week, Meteorology Department Officer, Panayiotis Mouskos, has told the Cyprus News Agency (CNA), adding that rainfall is also expected.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Mouskos stated that the weather is expected to be partly cloudy starting Monday, with rain and storms anticipated in the evening. The forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday indicates partly cloudy weather, with possible rain in mountain areas.
Mouskos also mentioned that there will be a noticeable drop in temperature. Currently, temperatures are much higher than average, reaching 29-30 degrees inland and 26-28 degrees in coastal areas, while normal temperatures are around 21-23 degrees. With the expected drop in temperatures on Monday and Tuesday, conditions will be very close to normal levels for the season.
The weather report predicts that tomorrow’s temperature will rise to around 26 degrees inland and at the southern and eastern coasts, approximately 24 degrees in other coastal areas, and 20 degrees in mountain regions.
