Limassol: The bicomminal Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage has initiated maintenance and conservation efforts at the mosque in the Agios Thomas community of Limassol District, along with the adjoining former school building.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Ali Tuncay, the Turkish Cypriot Co-chair of the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage, shared in a social media post that the protection efforts are being funded by the European Union and receiving technical support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Tuncay emphasized that the committee is steadfast in its mission to protect cultural heritage sites and conveyed gratitude to the experts and laborers contributing to the project.
