Nicosia: The 2026 edition of Startups4Peace (Su4P) has officially opened, inviting applications until 10 August 2026. The winners of the competition will receive seed funding and exclusive access to the Web Summit 2026.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Su4P is a bicommunal competition and accelerator program supported by the European Union under the EU aid program for the Turkish Cypriot community. It is a part of the eunite program, which facilitates economic integration in Cyprus. The German Agency for International Cooperation's GIZ International Services implements the program, in collaboration with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KEBE), the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (KTTO), CYENS, and the intercommunal social venture CyprusInno.
The initiative encourages innovative entrepreneurs and startups in Cyprus to collaborate and strengthen connections between the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities. Participants will have the opportunity to develop, test, and market their business ideas through residential bootcamps, bespoke mentoring, and a pitching battle. The competition is open to teams from both communities and joint teams.
As part of the program, the three winning teams will receive seed funding, with £10,000 awarded to the winner and £5,000 each for the two runners-up. Additionally, the winners will have the chance to participate in the Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, in November 2026.
