If Sinner wins on Sunday night, he will have to face the winner of the match pitting US player Frances Tiafoe - who qualified after the withdrawal of Poland's Hubert Hurkacz after conquering the first set 6-3 - and Denmark's Holger Rune, who beat Britain's Jack Draper 6-4, 6-2.
