Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus for the period from 1200 on June 26, 2026, to 1200 on June 27, 2026. The forecast indicates that the region is currently experiencing the effects of seasonal low pressure, which is expected to lead to mainly fine weather conditions. However, early morning hours may see an increase in low cloud cover, accompanied by local mist and a risk of fog.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast's issuance was recorded at 1007 hectopascals. Visibility in the affected areas is generally good, but may reduce to moderate or poor levels in the presence of mist, and become very poor when fog develops. The sea surface temperature is anticipated to remain around 25°C during the forecast period. Importantly, there are no warnings issued for this period, suggesting that conditions are not expected to be severe.
