Seasonal Low Pressure Influences Cyprus Sea Weather

Nicosia: Seasonal low pressure is currently impacting the sea area surrounding Cyprus, as reported by the Cyprus Department of Meteorology. The forecast, which covers an 8-kilometer stretch seawards, indicates that the weather conditions will be mainly fine, though there will be periods of locally increased cloud coverage. During the night and early dawn, there is an expectation of increased low cloud coverage, along with the possibility of local mist or fog.

According to Cyprus News Agency, visibility in the area is generally good but may reduce to moderate or poor in mist and become very poor in fog conditions. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 29°C. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was 1005 hPa. Despite the low-pressure system influencing the area, there are currently no warnings in effect.
