According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast was recorded at 1001 hPa. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 28°C, with visibility expected to remain good throughout the period. Despite the low-pressure system, no warnings have been issued for the area.
The forecast details varying wind speeds and sea conditions across the different coasts of Cyprus. On the west coast, winds are expected to vary from west to northwest, with Beaufort scales ranging from 3 to 5, leading to sea conditions from slight to moderate. The south coast will experience southwest winds reaching up to Beaufort scale 6 locally in the afternoon, with seas ranging from slight to moderate. The east coast will see southwest winds with potential offshore conditions reaching Beaufort scale 6, while the north coast will encounter southwest to northwest winds with similar slight to moderate sea states.
