Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, outlining weather conditions expected between 0600 on September 6, 2025, and 0600 on September 7, 2025. The forecast focuses on an area extending 8 kilometers seawards.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region is currently experiencing seasonal low pressure, which is leading to mainly fine weather conditions. However, there will be periods where locally increased low cloud coverage is noted. Additionally, there is a risk of local mist forming later tonight and around dawn, which could impact visibility, making it moderate to poor in misty conditions.
The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s release was recorded at 1010 hPa. Despite the potential for mist, the overall visibility is expected to be good. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 28°C, and there are no warnings in effect for the forecast period.
