Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, indicating that a seasonal low-pressure system is influencing the region. This meteorological condition is expected to result in mainly fine weather across the area, with a possibility of locally increased low cloud and local mist during the early hours, primarily in the southeast.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance stood at 1006hPa. Visibility is generally good; however, it may reduce to moderate or poor in areas affected by mist. Despite these conditions, no weather warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
Sea surface temperatures in the region remain consistent at 29°C, providing stable conditions for marine activities. The Cyprus Department of Meteorology continues to monitor the situation closely to provide updates if necessary.
