Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the period from June 21, 2026, at noon until June 22, 2026, at noon. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coast.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1013 hPa. The region is currently experiencing the effects of a seasonal low pressure system. While the weather is expected to be predominantly fine, overnight and during dawn there is a possibility of increased low cloud coverage, which may lead to local mist or fog patches.
Visibility in the area is generally good but may reduce to moderate or poor conditions in the presence of mist. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 24°C. There are no warnings in place for this period.
