Seasonal Low Pressure Brings Misty Conditions to Southern and Eastern Cyprus

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, indicating that the region is currently experiencing seasonal low pressure. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast release was recorded at 1003 hPa. The weather is expected to remain mainly fine, with some local increases in low cloud cover, particularly during the morning and nighttime hours.

According to Cyprus News Agency, later tonight and around dawn, residents in southern and eastern areas of Cyprus should anticipate local mist. Visibility across the region is generally good but is expected to reduce to moderate or poor levels in misty conditions, and very poor where fog develops. Meanwhile, the sea surface temperature remains warm at 28°C. No warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
