Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that seasonal low pressure is currently affecting the region. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and is valid from 1800 on July 2, 2025, to 1800 on July 3, 2025. The atmospheric pressure at the time of issuance was recorded at 1004 hPa.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather is expected to remain mainly fine throughout the forecast period. However, there is a risk of locally increased cloud and mist, particularly over the southern and eastern areas during the early morning hours. Despite these conditions, visibility is anticipated to be generally good, though it may reduce to moderate or poor in areas affected by the mist.
The sea surface temperature in the region is currently at 25°C, and no warnings have been issued for the forecast period. The winds are being measured on the Beaufort scale, and all times mentioned are local.
