The region, extending 8 kilometers seawards, is expected to experience mainly fine weather, but with periods of increased low cloud coverage, particularly over the western coasts during the night and morning hours.
According to Cyprus News Agency, atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast was recorded at 1007 hPa. The forecast highlights local mist and increased cloud coverage over the southeastern coastal areas later tonight and during dawn. Visibility is generally good, though it may decrease to moderate or poor in misty conditions. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 29°C, with no warnings issued for the period.
The forecast details varying wind conditions across different coasts. On the West Coast, winds will range from southwest to northwest at Beaufort scale 3 to 4, increasing locally to 5 in the afternoon, and will shift to west to northwest at night. The sea state will be smooth to slight, becoming slightly rougher in some areas. Similar conditions are expected on the South Coast, with winds transitioning from south to southwest and sea conditions remaining mostly smooth to slight.
For the East Coast, southeast to southwest winds of Beaufort scale 3 to 4 are expected, with smooth to slight sea conditions. The North Coast will see winds from southwest to northwest, with occasional increases in strength locally. The overall sea state is predicted to remain smooth to slight across all coastal areas.
