Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, highlighting the weather conditions expected from 0600 on July 23, 2025, until 0600 on July 24, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, with atmospheric pressure noted at 1005 hPa at the time of issue.
According to Cyprus News Agency, a combination of seasonal low pressure and a warm air mass is currently affecting the region. The weather is expected to remain mainly fine throughout the period, although there will be locally increased low cloud during the night and dawn. This may result in mist or fog patches, particularly in southeastern areas.
Visibility within the forecasted area is generally good; however, it may reduce to moderate or poor in misty conditions, and very poor in areas experiencing fog. The sea surface temperature is reported at 27°C. Importantly, no warnings have been issued for this forecast period.
