Seasonal Low Pressure Affects Cyprus Sea Area

Nicosia: Seasonal low pressure is beginning to impact the sea area around Cyprus, as reported by the Cyprus Department of Meteorology. The forecast, which covers an area extending up to 8 kilometers seawards, indicates mainly fine weather conditions but warns of the potential for increased low cloud and local mist during the early morning hours.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1012 hPa. Visibility is generally good, although it may decrease to moderate or poor levels in areas affected by mist. The sea surface temperature in the area is noted to be 24°C. Currently, there are no warnings in place for the period from 1200 on June 17, 2026, until 1200 on June 18, 2026.
