Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the period from the evening of August 3 until the evening of August 4, 2026. The area covered by this forecast extends 8 kilometers seawards from the coast.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast details that the region is currently experiencing seasonal low pressure, with the atmospheric pressure recorded at 1008 hPa. Tonight and tomorrow morning, there is an expectation of locally increased low cloud coverage primarily along the coastal areas. Additionally, there is a likelihood of local mist or fog patches forming over the southern and eastern parts of the island.
The visibility across the area is expected to remain good, and the sea surface temperature is noted to be 28°C. The forecast does not include any warnings, indicating stable maritime conditions during this period.
