Sales of Cypriot Industrial Products Rise by 7.3% in 2023

Nicosia: Sales of domestically produced industrial products in Cyprus recorded an increase in 2023, according to data released by the Statistical Service. Total sales reached £4,601.6 million, up from £4,289.6 million in 2022, marking an annual growth of 7.3%.

According to Cyprus News Agency, among Cypriot products, halloumi recorded sales of 41.9 thousand tons, valued at £338.1 million, while pasteurized milk and cream reached 60.7 million liters (£85.9 million). Fresh fruit juices amounted to 71.1 thousand tons (£49.0 million), meat products (processed) £50.4 million, and fresh bakery and confectionery products £351.4 million.

Beverage production and sales were also significant. Beer sales reached 42.3 million liters (£53.8 million), wine 11.9 million liters (£39.5 million), soft drinks 13.5 million liters (£20.5 million), and bottled water 190.7 million liters (£39.9 million).

In the industrial and chemical sectors, sales of pharmaceutical products and preparations reached £351.4 million, chemical products £84.0 million, cement and clinker £158.2 million, and ready-mix concrete 3.2 million cubic meters (£247.7 million).
