Nicosia: President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, received Cypriot EU Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans, Costas Kadis, to discuss issues related to his portfolio.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Kadis, who was accompanied by his team, noted that their visit to Cyprus is part of an effort to strengthen their collective work and exchange ideas on the progress of the Commission’s initiatives.
Kadis informed the President about various activities that took place during their visit, focusing on fisheries in the Republic of Cyprus. He mentioned that a team of distinguished professionals has been assembled to examine issues of concern to all EU Member States, emphasizing the team’s awareness and sensitivity to issues affecting Cyprus.
