Nicosia: President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, held a telephone conversation on Wednesday with President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, during which they discussed the latest regional developments.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said on 'X' that during their communication "the long-standing close friendship and the excellent bilateral relations that connect Cyprus and Lebanon, which are based on deep, historical ties, were underlined".
He further emphasized that "Cyprus continues to closely monitor developments in the region and remains in close contact with partners and friendly countries, with the aim of ensuring regional security and stability."
