Nicosia: The clear objective of the Government's financial policy is for economic growth to turn into progress for society and citizens, the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, stated in a post on platform X. His statement was accompanied by a Cyprus Statistical Service graph highlighting the latest employment data.
According to Cyprus News Agency, President Christodoulides emphasized that growth must "translate into more jobs, more opportunities and greater security for every citizen and every family." He further noted that this approach embodies "the essence of an economy that grows with stability and prospects."
The President remarked that the current state of the labour market "confirms precisely this trajectory." He pointed out that there are "more citizens in work, more employment opportunities and an economy that creates prospects and security across all sectors." President Christodoulides concluded his post with a patriotic note, stating, "Cyprus is above all."
