Nicosia: Pope Francis’ ministry to the Church was selfless, wise and enlightened, Archbishop of Cyprus George, said in his condolence message to the Vatican on the passing of the head of the Roman Catholic Church on Monday. “With much sorrow and anguish, we participate in the sorrow of the Roman Catholic Church, over the passing of the venerable Pope Francis,” the Archbishop notes.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Archbishop emphasized that “his ministry to the Church was selfless, wise and enlightened.”
