Police Seize Over 389 kg of Ketamine in Limassol Following Coordinated Operation

Limassol: The Cyprus Police have seized over 389 kilogrammes of ketamine over the last few days in Limassol following a coordinated operation between the Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) and the Financial and Cybercrime Division (FCID). According to Cyprus News Agency, police first located and seized over 126 kilogrammes of ketamine on Saturday, September 12. The seizure also included other drugs in smaller quantities, cash, and other evidence found at two residences in Limassol. Authorities arrested two couples residing in these homes: two men aged 53 and 50, and two women aged 51 and 31. They have been remanded in custody for eight days under a court order issued by the Limassol District Court on Monday, September 13, to facilitate the ongoing police investigation. On Monday, YKAN seized an additional large quantity of ketamine, with a total gross weight of 263.5 kilogrammes. The drugs were discovered in a warehouse in Limassol after evaluating information obtained during the investigation.
