New delhi: India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his commitment to further strengthen the strategic partnership with Cyprus, following congratulatory remarks from President Nikos Christodoulides.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Indian Prime Minister thanked President Christodoulides for his warm wishes on becoming 'the longest-serving Prime Minister in India's history'. Modi recalled the Cypriot President's recent state visit to India and reciprocated the commitment to enhance the longstanding friendship and strategic ties between the two nations.
Earlier, President Christodoulides had congratulated Prime Minister Modi, noting that the milestone reflects years of dedicated service and leadership. He emphasized the value Cyprus places on its strategic partnership with India and expressed a commitment to furthering cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations' peoples.
