Paris Remembers Victims On Tenth Anniversary Of Attacks

Brussels: On 13 November 2015, ten years ago, the heart was ripped out of Paris. That evening, people going about their normal business – sitting outside cafes, attending a concert – had their lives brutally taken away. Ten years on, Paris remembers the 132 victims, their faces, and their stories cut short.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the memory of those who survived and those who still bear the scars, visible or invisible, of that terrible night remains vivid. The families, loved ones, and all those who, for the past decade, have carried the overwhelming weight of mourning are held in collective thoughts.

France’s response was one of resilience, as the nation stood unbowed by grief. Crowds gathered at the place de la R©publique in a show of solidarity and remembrance. The attack was a strike against the values of freedom, peace, and tolerance that shape France and are esteemed throughout Europe.

Today, France and the world mourn together. Though Paris was wounded, she remains resilient. The spirit of the city endures, encapsulated by the phrase “Fluctuat nec mergitur” – Rocked by the waves, but she does not sink.
