Oman Enjoys Strong Bilateral Relations with Cyprus, Embassy’s Head of Mission Says

Nicosia: The Sultanate of Oman enjoys strong bilateral relations with the friendly Republic of Cyprus, which have witnessed significant development in recent years across various fields of cooperation, Muhammad Al-Nahdi, Head of the Mission of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman, has said.

According to Cyprus News Agency, on the 24th of November the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman celebrated its National Day in Nicosia.

Alexis Vafeades, Minister of Transport, Communications, and Works of the Republic of Cyprus, attended the ceremony and remarked on the important occasion that gives both sides the opportunity to reflect on the enduring friendship between Cyprus and Oman. He appreciated that the partnership is built on mutual respect, shared values, and a common vision for peace, dialogue, and coexistence in the region and beyond.

Muhammad Al-Nahdi, Head of the Mission, expressed that the Sultanate of Oman enjoys strong bilateral relations with the friendly Republic of Cyprus, which have witnessed significant development in recent years across various fields of cooperation. This year, these efforts culminated in the signing of several Memoranda of Understanding in the areas of health, transport, and maritime affairs. These agreements reflect the joint commitment to further strengthening cooperation between the two countries across multiple sectors.
