Nicosia: Nicosia on Saturday extended 'warm wishes' to the people of the USA on 4th of July and US Independence Day.
According to Cyprus News Agency, in a post on X, Cyprus' Foreign Ministry extends 'warm wishes' to the State Department and the people of the USA on the occasion of 4th of July and US Independence Day. 'On the landmark occasion of Freedom250, we celebrate our strategic partnership and common democratic values', it said.
'This historic day stands as a testament to the enduring values of freedom and democracy that our nations proudly uphold', Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos said in his own post, while also congratulating his US counterpart, Marco Rubio, on the occasion.
Cyprus, he said, 'stands as a reliable partner to the US, actively contributing to peace, security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean and beyond'.
'We are firmly committed to further deepening the Cyprus-US cooperation across all areas', Kombos said.
