Nicosia: A new heatwave is expected to affect Cyprus on Tuesday, as the Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for extreme maximum temperatures. The warning will be in effect from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. According to Cyprus News Agency, the maximum temperature inland is anticipated to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius. This follows a period of high temperatures that impacted the island last week, although a significant drop in temperatures was noted over the weekend.
