Strasbourg: Minister of Health Neophytos Charalambides has held meetings in Strasbourg with Members of the European Parliament within the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union, with whom he discussed the Presidency's priorities in the health sector.
According to Cyprus News Agency, during his visit, the Minister of Health met with MEPs from various political groups of the European Parliament's Public Health Committee (SANT). The discussions focused on important issues and legislative initiatives under discussion at European level, related to the strengthening of health systems and the protection of public health.
The Minister of Health, it adds, expressed his appreciation for the constructive dialogue, which contributed to the exchange of ideas on the important issues that the Cyprus Presidency will address in the next six months in the health sector.
