The warning indicates the potential for isolated heavy thunderstorms initially impacting the western and southern coastal areas, with a gradual spread to the rest of the island.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the press release highlights that hail is expected during the thunderstorms, with winds potentially strengthening and becoming variable. The precipitation rate could exceed 35 millimeters per hour, posing risks of localized flooding and reduced visibility in affected areas. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during this period of adverse weather conditions.
