Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area extending 8 kilometers seawards from Cyprus, predicting mainly cloudy weather with local showers and isolated thunderstorms for the period from 1800 on December 8, 2025, until 1800 on December 9, 2025. The low-pressure system currently affecting the region is expected to bring variable and strengthening winds, particularly during thunderstorms.
According to Cyprus News Agency, visibility in the area is generally good but may become moderate to poor during showers. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1011 hectopascals. The sea surface temperature stands at 22°C. Despite the forecasted weather conditions, no warnings have been issued for the area.
