Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting mainly cloudy weather with local showers and isolated thunderstorms for the period from 1200 on December 8, 2025, until 1200 on December 9, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1011 hPa, indicating the presence of a low pressure system affecting the region. During thunderstorms, the winds may vary in strength. The visibility is expected to be generally good, but may reduce to moderate or poor conditions during showers. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 22°C. Despite the unsettled weather conditions, no warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
