Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting increased cloudiness and local showers within an 8-kilometer range from the coast. The period covered by this forecast extends from noon on October 8, 2025, to noon the following day.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the area is currently under the influence of low atmospheric pressure, recorded at 1011 hectopascals. This condition is expected to result in isolated thunderstorms, particularly affecting the western and northern regions. While visibility is generally good, it will be reduced to moderate or poor during showers.
The sea surface temperature remains at 26°C, with no warnings issued for the period. Wind strength is measured on the Beaufort scale, adding another layer of detail to the forecast.
