New york: Cyprus Minister of Labour and Social Insurance, Marinos Mousiouttas, held a bilateral meeting with the Austrian Minister of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Welfare and Consumer Protection, Korinna Schumann. This meeting took place during the 64th Session of the Commission for Social Development at the United Nations Headquarters.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the two ministers focused on the priorities of the upcoming Cyprus EU Presidency, particularly in the field of employment. They also addressed issues of common interest such as pension schemes and stressed the importance of ensuring effective protection for workers moving within the European Union.
