Nicosia: The Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance has announced the implementation of a financial support plan designed for employees directly impacted by wildfires and unable to work in the near future. This decision follows a consultation with the President of the Republic.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the scheme aims to cover the loss of wages for those affected, extending to both employees and self-employed individuals. The financial benefit will be calculated based on figures recorded by the authorities during the previous period.
The plan is structured to ensure the timely payment of benefits to the beneficiaries, facilitating their ability to resume professional activities.
