Nicosia: Cyprus' Foreign Affairs Minister Constantinos Kombos discussed in Abu Dhabi on Saturday the country's contribution to stabilisation efforts for Gaza, with Nickolay Mladenov, High Representative for Gaza on US President Trump's Board of Peace. Kombos also had a meeting with UAE State Minister for Europe, Lana Nusseibeh.
According to Cyprus News Agency, in a post on X, Kombos said he had a 'timely' meeting and exchange of views with Nickolay Mladenov, Gaza Executive Board member and High Representative for Gaza on President Trump's Board of Peace. The Minister noted they had a 'useful discussion' focusing on Cyprus' active contribution to stabilisation efforts for Gaza, in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2803, on the humanitarian, security, and reconstruction fields.
Regarding his meeting with UAE State Minister for Europe Lana Nusseibeh, Kombos said in another post they had a 'substantial exchange' on key aspects of pertinent bilateral and international affairs.
