Kallas and Kombos Engage in Diplomatic Talks with Eastern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Ministers

Brussels: EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, and Cyprus' Foreign Minister, Constantinos Kombos, held joint talks with Foreign Ministers from the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. The discussions took place on Thursday, focusing on fostering regional stability and security amidst evolving developments.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Kombos shared in a post on X that the diplomatic engagement involved active dialogues with several key figures from the region. The talks aimed at pursuing stability and security through diplomacy and engagement.

The discussions included interactions with Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, and Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi. Other participants were UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Oman's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi.

Further conversations were held with Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
