Nicosia: Aiming to enhance bilateral cooperation in the areas of transport and infrastructure, Israel’s Transport Minister and Road Safety Miri Regev is paying Cyprus an official visit between July 6 and 8. During her visit, Minister Regev will engage in a series of meetings with Transport, Communications, and Works Ministry officials and will visit key infrastructure sites, including Larnaca airport and the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC).
According to Cyprus News Agency, Regev will also participate in meetings with El Al and will receive a tour of Larnaca port. These engagements are part of efforts to enhance cooperation in the areas of aviation, shipping, and transport.
The Ministry press release stated that the visit is an important step in strengthening relations between Cyprus and Israel in the areas of transport and infrastructure. The visit aims to develop joint initiatives and facilitate the exchange of experience and know-how between the two countries.
