According to Cyprus News Agency, despite the substantial defeat, the Cyprus team showed promise in the first half against Israel. However, Israel’s superior defensive and offensive strategies led to their decisive victory. The ECOMMBX Cup serves as a critical opportunity for the teams to prepare for the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket 2025, especially for the newly renovated Spyros Kyprianou Sports Center, which is hosting the tournament.
