Nicosia: The number of investment funds increased from 336 in March 2025 to 343 in June 2025, whereas their total assets marginally increased by approximately 0.5%, according to data published by the Central Bank of Cyprus on Thursday.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the total assets of these 343 investment funds were at £7,577.9 million in June 2025, compared with £7,537.2 million in March 2025.
Out of £7,577.9 million, £828.9 million were deposits and loans, down by £9.4 million compared to March. £575.5 million were securities other than shares, down by £28.7 million compared to March. £5.6 billion were shares and other equity, up by £39.9 million. In addition, £338.7 million were non-financial assets, including fixed assets, while another £185.7 million were remaining assets, including financial derivatives.
