Nicosia: Industrial producer prices in Cyprus increased by 2.3% in July 2026 compared with June, while on an annual basis they rose by 4.6%.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Cyprus recorded the fourth-largest monthly increase among EU member states. Larger increases were recorded in Ireland, at 4.3%, and in Spain and Italy, both at 3.0%. The largest decreases were recorded in Estonia, at 3.3%, Finland, at 1.6%, and Sweden, at 1.1%.
In Cyprus, industrial producer prices had increased by 0.3% in June compared with May, while in May they had risen by 3.2%. In April, the monthly increase stood at 0.3%, while a decrease of 0.6% was recorded in March and prices remained unchanged in February.
On an annual basis, the increase in Cyprus accelerated to 4.6% in July, from 2.0% in both June and May. In April and March, an annual decrease of 0.4% was recorded, while in February prices were up by 0.3% compared with the corresponding month of 2025.
The largest annual increases among EU member states were recorded in Ireland, at 14.8%, Lithuania, at 12.9%, and Bulgaria, at 12.5%. Luxembourg was the only Member State to record an annual decrease, at 7.3%.
