Nicosia:the total sales of locally produced industrial commodities reached £4.77 billion in 2024. This marks a 3.7% increase compared to the £4.60 billion recorded in 2023, based on data released by the Statistical Service.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Sales of specific commodities showed notable figures. Halloumi cheese sales amounted to 46.1 thousand tonnes, valued at £364.1 million. Pasteurized milk and fresh cream sales totaled 57.8 million liters, worth £82.7 million, while fresh fruit juice sales reached 75 thousand tonnes, valued at £54 million.

The data also detailed the sales of other products, including prepared meat products at £51.4 million and fresh bakery and pastry products at £373.8 million. Beer sales reached 43.1 million liters, valued at £57 million, with wines totaling 10.4 million liters and valued at £35.7 million. Additionally, soft drinks accounted for 14.7 million liters of sales, worth £23.5 million, and bottled mineral water sales were 216.9 million liters, valued at £46.7 million.

Chemical products sold in 2024 were valued at £80.6 million. Pharmaceutical products and preparations reached £363.3 million, cement and clinker at £138.3 million, and ready-mixed concrete at £257.6 million.
