Accra:The Price Index of Construction Materials in September 2026 reached 123.41 units, marking a 3.74% increase compared to the same month in 2025.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the main commodity categories contributing to the increase include metallic products, which rose by 5.28%, and products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals, and plastics, which saw a 5.06% rise. Electromechanical products increased by 4.08%, minerals by 2.81%, and mineral products by 1.35%.

The index also showed a 0.26% increase from August 2026. For the nine-month period from January to September 2026, there was a 2.24% rise compared to the same period in 2025.
