Ashdod: A new shipment of humanitarian aid for Gaza, transported through the 'Amaltheia' maritime corridor, arrived late on Saturday night at the Israeli port of Ashdod, according to information obtained by the Cyprus News Agency (CNA).

According to Cyprus News Agency, everything proceeded as scheduled and the unloading of the 950 tonnes of humanitarian aid was completed.

As the Director of the Press Office of the President of the Republic, Viktoras Papadopoulos, told CNA on Saturday, the aid includes food and hygiene supplies. The mission was carried out in coordination with the UN/UNOPS and the United Arab Emirates, and in cooperation with other countries such as France and Kuwait, as well as international humanitarian organisations such as World Central Kitchen.
