Nicosia: The House Price Index (HPI) for the fourth quarter of 2025 experienced a 6% increase on an annual basis. This change was observed despite the index remaining stable compared to the preceding quarter.
According to Cyprus News Agency, a preliminary estimate by the Statistical Service places the HPI for the fourth quarter of 2025 at 152.91 units. While there was no change compared to the third quarter of 2025, the index shows a significant rise of 6.0% when compared to the same quarter in 2024.
The sub-index for New Dwellings in the fourth quarter of 2025 was calculated at 174.51 units, a slight increase from 173.92 units in the previous quarter. Conversely, the sub-index for Existing Dwellings was estimated at 134.56 units, showing a decrease from 135.60 units in the third quarter of 2025.
