Nicosia: House Plenary passed on Thursday a bill for the operation of the National Cancer Institute. The aim is for the Institute to coordinate and holistically manage issues related to the field of cancer and oncology, including the preparation, review, updating, and implementation of the national cancer strategy.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the bill was passed unanimously. In their statements, all MPs who addressed the Plenary underlined the significance of having such an institute operating in the country with the aim to provide the patients with the best possible treatment in a holistic manner.
