Warsaw: Health Minister Michael Damianos departs on Monday for Poland, to represent Cyprus in the first European Summit on Cancer Prevention and Control. An official announcement says that Damianos will address the Summit on Tuesday, May 27.
According to Cyprus News Agency, in the framework of his intervention, the Minister will refer to the actions Cyprus is taking in the field of cancer prevention and treatment, both through programs that are implemented in the population as well as through the creation of a National Cancer Institute, it is added.
The Minister returns to Cyprus on Tuesday.
