Larnaka: Hermes Airports has announced that more than 50 arrivals and departures from Larnaka and Pafos airports are expected to be affected on Thursday due to the three-hour nationwide strike taking place from 11:00 to 14:00. The total number of affected passengers is expected to exceed 15,000.
According to Cyprus News Agency, as the rescheduling of flights by airlines is being finalized, Hermes Airports urges the public to monitor their messages and to contact their airline or travel agent directly in order to be informed of the new departure or arrival time of their flight. Furthermore, the new flight times, once announced, will be posted on Hermes Airports’ website www.hermesairports.com.
Due to the strike, the following flights have been cancelled: Jazeera Airways to and from Kuwait (JZR345/JZR346), Qatar Airways to and from Doha (QTR265/QTR266), and Emirates from Dubai to Larnaka and from Larnaka to Malta (UAE109).
