Victor Wembenyama and Nicolas Batum dropped 19 points each for France at Pierre Mauroy Stadium. Cristiano Felcio and Leo Meindl each had 14 points for Brazil. France are second behind Germany in Group B, both with two points. Canada begin Olympics with win Canada defeated Greece 86-79 in a Group A game. RJ Barrett led Canada with 23 points, while Greece's NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped in 34 points in the loss at Pierre Mauroy Stadium.
